Denis Grigorov is a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with a background that spans 10 years of military service as a commissioned officer in the U.S. Air Force, emergency nursing in high-acuity hospital settings, and a 12-month psychiatric residency at the VA Greater Los Angeles Healthcare System.
That combination of environments — military precision, ED clinical judgment, and VA-level psychiatric complexity — produced a provider who is calm under pressure, unusually thorough in diagnosis, and deeply attuned to patients who have been carrying a significant load for a long time. Denis also speaks Russian and Ukrainian, and has a particular commitment to serving military veterans and first responders.
His approach is simple in principle and disciplined in practice: get the diagnosis right first, explain every decision, and build a treatment plan the patient can understand and commit to.
