Whether you come to D&Y with ADHD, anxiety, PTSD, burnout, or a mood condition, the process begins the same way: a thorough evaluation that takes the time to understand your full clinical picture before any treatment decision is made. D&Y does not skip the evaluation to get to the prescription.
Many of the conditions listed here overlap in their symptoms. Anxiety looks like ADHD. Burnout looks like depression. PTSD presents with mood instability that can mimic bipolar disorder. Getting the diagnosis right is not a formality — it is the difference between treatment that works and treatment that does not.
What D&Y Does Not Treat
D&Y is an outpatient adult psychiatric practice. We do not provide care for children or adolescents, active psychosis requiring intensive management, complex substance use requiring withdrawal supervision, or patients requiring emergency psychiatric intervention. If your situation requires a higher level of care, we will refer you clearly to the appropriate resource.
For conditions requiring intensive psychotherapy alongside medication — including complex PTSD and severe OCD — D&Y coordinates actively with licensed therapists and provides referrals to trusted partners.
